Ingredients
- Round Steak
- Flour
- Onions, diced
- Celery, diced
- Bell Peppers, sliced
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- Garclic powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Cut round steak into serving-size pieces. Season, to taste, with garlic powder and salt and pepper. Dust meat with flour. In a skillet, brown both sides of meat in vegetable oil.
Place steak in a slow cooker with onions, celery and bell peppers. Pour in tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes.
Cook on low 4 to 6 hours (cooking time will depend on steak thickness). Serve with rice and cornbread.
