Employees Train For Road Readiness and First Aid

Did you know Sam Houston Electric Cooperative serves more than 4,000 miles of service area? While maintaining electric service across an area the size of Connecticut, Co-op employees drive many miles each year.

The employees who frequently drive received day-long training in early November covering road readiness and first aid. Employees learned CPR, basic first aid training, automated external defibrillator (AED) training and inspection points for their vehicles.

Next time you see a Sam Houston EC truck, be sure to wave!
