 Sam Houston EC Earns Milestone ACSI Score

Following excellent American Customer Satisfaction Index scores of 89 and 84 in the first and second quarters, Sam Houston EC achieved a milestone score of 90 for the third quarter.

To put this achievement in perspective, the average score for all energy utilities is 74.3 so far in 2015.

“The fact that our scores have remained so high through the many challenges of 2015 is all because of [our employees’] hard work and steady focus on serving our members,” said Sam Houston EC Chief Executive Officer Kyle J. Kuntz, P.E.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index is the only national cross-industry measure of customer satisfaction in the United States. The Index measures the satisfaction of U.S. household consumers with the quality of products and services offered by both foreign and domestic firms with significant share in U.S. markets.

“We appreciate our members taking the time to respond to ACSI,” Chief Communications Officer Keith Stapleton said. “We read the comments and suggestions that accompany each score and welcome the feedback on our service.”
