Did you know Sam Houston Electric Cooperative serves more than 4,000 miles of service area? While maintaining electric service across an area the size of Connecticut, Co-op employees drive many miles each year.
The employees who frequently drive received day-long training in early November covering road readiness and first aid. Employees learned CPR, basic first aid training, automated external defibrillator (AED) training, and inspection points for their vehicles.
