Sam Houston Electric Cooperative’s Relay For Life team will be wrapping up another Relay season before the big event with 1 final fundraiser. April 11, the Sam Houston EC Relay for Life team will have a garage sale at the Cooperative's Livingston headquarters building. Come by between 7 a.m. and noon to purchase some great items and help out a worthy cause.
Scheduled for April 24, the event will be held at Pedigo Park in Livingston and will begin at 6 p.m. Stop by the Cooperative's booth for sausage on a stick, drinks, and a chance to spin the wheel for a prize. The team will also be selling raffle tickets for even bigger prizes!
Last year, Sam Houston EC alone raised nearly $6,000.
According to the American Cancer Society, each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement.
