Sam Houston Electric Cooperative members may receive an email this week inviting them to take a survey about how they consume electricity in their homes.
The survey will be sent to residential members from NRECA Market Research.
“This residential survey, which is conducted every 3 years, helps us plan for our members’ future energy requirements,” said Rachel Frey, chief communications officer. “The survey asks members to share their electricity-related habits, such as what electric appliances they use, and how often they use them.”
This information is then used to forecast the energy supply needs of the Co-op’s members in the future, so staff can accurately plan for the needs of the members.
Participating members will be entered into a drawing for 2 $100 bill credits.
