The Sam Houston Electric Cooperative Board of Directors election ballot will arrive in mailboxes and inboxes this month.
The election begins May 12, and detailed voting instructions will be provided with the ballot mailed to you.
The quickest way to vote is from your mySamHouston online account. Account holders can log in like they would pay a bill or review usage, then follow the option to access the ballot.
Mailed ballots will include login credentials for the independent election management firm’s secure website. This information will also be sent by email to those who have an email associated with their Sam Houston EC account.
Members will still receive a paper ballot to vote by mail if they prefer. Online and mail-in votes will be eligible for prize drawings at the annual meeting of members June 10.
Members who submit their ballot by June 3 will be eligible for additional prize drawings at the annual meeting. Members do not need to be present at the meeting to win prizes from the ballot drawings.
