(Updated 8:00 am, Sunday, 12/22) Last year, a powerful Christmas Day storm resulted in major power outages. This year, heavy rains and high winds arrived a few days before Christmas.
Following yesterday's storm, crews restored power to 11,211 members affected by power outages. The most without power at any one time was 6,000. Most of the outages were caused by high winds and falling trees and limbs that broke or damaged lines, poles, cross arms and other equipment. Thanks to our members for your patience, and thanks to our crews for your hard work and for staying safe.
