After a monumental effort, accomplishing in just 18 hours a job that would normally take several days, the new substation transformer was placed late last night and our crews restored power to the Fred and Spurger area. However just a short time after, around 2:30 a.m., a tree fell on an Entergy transmission line that brings power to the same area that was affected by the substation transformer yesterday. The resulting outage affects parts of Tyler County and north Hardin County. When the tree is removed and they have repaired the transmission line, power to Co-op members in the area will be back to normal.
