As of 7:30 p.m., 3,900 members are currently without power. More than 23,500 have had service restored since Saturday. Because flooding has spread today, areas that are inaccessible is increasing. Please stay tuned for more updates as they are available.
Hurricane Harvey has presented a unique set of challenges for us, because it has lingered over our system for so long. Many members are seeing outages repaired only to be faced with more wind, trees finally giving way and falling, or flood waters rising. Please know ours crews are continuing to tackle these repeat outages as well as working to gain access to flooded areas. We can't thank our members enough for the kind words and encouragement!
