Resources for Members Impacted by Hurricane Beryl



Thursday, July 11, Update:

Several counties are providing resources for members impacted by Hurricane Beryl. Also, visit 2-1-1 Texas.org or dial 211 for additional resources in the community.

Liberty County:

The Liberty High School Cafeteria is open from 12-4 p.m. as a cooling and charging station for any families without power.

San Jacinto County:

San Jacinto County Farm Bureau will be serving free hamburgers and hotdogs with chips and drinks on Thursday, July 11. It will begin at 11:30 a.m. in their parking lot and last until they are out.

Emergency Food Truck Distribution at the Shepherd Community Center. This begins at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. The address is 10501 Hwy 150 Shepherd Texas.

There are two cooling centers open in the county, The Coldspring Area Public Library and The Shepherd Community Center.

Montgomery County:

As of July 11, the following locations will open as cooling centers from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. These centers are for cooling only and will not have food supplies on hand.

Conroe Central Library: 104 I-45 North, Conroe, Texas 77301

West Branch Library: 202 Bessie Price Owen Dr.,Montgomery, Texas 77356

South County Branch: 2101 Lake Robbins Dr.,The Woodlands, Texas 77380

R.B Tullis Branch: 21569 US-59,New Caney, Texas 77357

Additionally the cooling center at the North Montgomery County Community Center will remain open all day

Polk County:

The following cooling centers are open still for people without power:

Polk County Commerce Center: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Onalaska VFD Station 51: - 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Corrigan City Hall: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

American Legion(816 US Loop N, Livingston): 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.

Tyler County:

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center in Woodville is now open from at 1 - 6 p.m. Their schedule after tomorrow will return to 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
